The new name Springton Creek is proposed for a 0.4-mile-long tributary of Culbertson Run in East Brandywine Township and West Brandywine Township in Chester County. The stream flows along Springton Road, and the small community of Springton is located 1.7 miles to the northnortheast.  A FEMA map published in 2017 labeled the stream Tributary 3 of Culbertson Run.
