The East Brandywine Township Park and Recreation Board is a group of eight Township residents who work closely with the Township Board of Supervisors to design, maintain, and acquire park lands in the Township. At present, there are three parks in the Township that include the Community Park on Dilworth Road, Spatola Park on Raleigh Drive, and Hopewell Field on Township Road. These parks offer residents the opportunity to use our soccer and baseball fields, walking trails, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and picnic facilities. We are currently completing Phase II of the Community Park on Dilworth Road, and will acquire additional land to expand these facilities within the next year. Our long-term plan is to develop a trail system throughout the Township, connecting to trail systems in other municipalities. All residents are encouraged to use and enjoy these facilities. |
