Those in attendance: Hudson L. Voltz, Chairman, Board of Supervisors, Scott T. Piersol, Township Manager, Andreas Heinrich, Heinrich & Klein, Richard Bates, John Black, John Bryer, Brian Formica, Everett Lang, John Neff, Harold Thompson and Norann King, Secretary.

Opening
of meeting: The meeting convened at

Mr. Voltz asked if
there were any additions or corrections to the above minutes.
There being none, the Committee unanimously approved the
Mr. Voltz opened the
meeting by thanking Mr. Brown and Mr. Obernier for attending the traffic
meeting. He stated this was an
opportunity to make our surrounding Townships aware of the different plans
Both townships were very interested in learning about ACT 209 in order to take this information back to their townships. The committee asked Mr. Brown and Mr. Obernier to contact our Township office with any feedback they receive from their Boards of respective Supervisors, and extended an invitation to them to attend our next scheduled traffic meeting.
Mr. Voltz asked the committee to nominate a Chairman and Vice-Chairman. Mr. Thompson made a motion to elect Brian Formica as Chairman. Mr. Lang seconded the motion, with all voting Aye.
Mr. Voltz then asked the committee to nominate a Vice-Chairman. Mr. Formica made a motion to elect Richard Bates as Vice-Chairman. Mr. Bryer seconded the motion, with all voting Aye.
Mr. Voltz advised that one role of the Traffic Impact Advisory Committee is to assist the Planning Commission in dealing with traffic issues in the planning stages of a development. Mr. Thomas will be the liaison between the Traffic Impact Committee and the Planning Commission
The Traffic Impact Committee will complete the following tasks over the next several months:
Speak to business owners and residents who will be affected by the bypass or widening of SR 322.
Generate a Land Use Assumption Report.
Have Mr. Giannantonio update the maps of the study area.
Speak to Mr. John Roughan, Jr., Township Manager of Upper Uwchlan Township about the costs they incurred for engineered plans of their bypass around Eagle.
For our next scheduled meeting the committee asked Mr. Heinrich to look at the feasibility of a bypass versus widening SR 322. The committee also needs to look into intersection improvements. Mr. Piersol said he would ask Roadmaster Matthew Van Lew if he has any suggestions about the improvements needed. Mr. Piersol will ask Mr. John Snook from Brandywine Conservancy to provide a cost estimate to complete a Land Use Assumptions Report.
